Trying something new! Introducing the Pocket Water - Fly Box.

If you’re like me no matter how many fly boxes you have, you end up fishing out of a plastic container full of random flies from your local shop. I wanted a box that would fit in my shirt pocket or waders that I could easily swap out the daily fly rotation.

Made of all natural materials, there are two styles. Standard and Mag Top. The Mag Top is great for smaller bugs and dries. The cork is treated and reinforced. While it’ll last for a good while, it’ll eventually wear out. Send it back to me and I’ll replace it for free!

I made 20 of them and they’re available for purchase through the website. I plan to make them in batches a few times a year. The next batch will come on the Spring if 2021.

@flatwater Foundation has been a part of my family

@flatwater Foundation has been a part of my family for the past five years. It started with my sister @sarahstree padding in the 2016 @tylerstx Dam That Cancer to remember my father who passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2012. My wife @natalie00 joined her to paddle in 2017 and they have been paddling and helping with the event ever since.

Flatwater Foundation covers 100% of the cost of therapy for families who are struggling to cope with cancer so they can work through the overwhelmingly tough challenge. Every $70 raised = 1 hour of therapy!

I’m not the best paddler but I can make an okay landing net. The pandemic has affected their ability to raise funds, and we wanted to step in to help. I was happy to donate this Peacemaker for the cause.

We are auctioning the net here in this post. Please comment below with the amount you’d like to donate. All funds will go to Flatwater Foundation to support their mission.

Time is flying by like sawdust in the shop. Caught this redfish a couple of weeks ago with @drew.donaghue. Great times sharing stories with him and @watson512. Six weight line on the @abelreels super did just fine on this 20 incher.
